about us

the story so far.

The story starts with Dave Heffernan and Jaroslaw Walter in 2018 when they meet each other through an Irish LUG (LEGO User Group).

With similar interests and a love of the brick, we formed a great friendship and later, this business together. The adventure started as LimBrick City and under this name, we hosted numerous sell out LEGO shows, attended many large conventions and built a large following of LEGO enthusiasts.

In 2020 amidst a world pandemic, we re-branded the business to Shamrock Bricks so we can continue to organise amazing LEGO shows, build our brand and to be more nationally and internationally recognized.

What we do?

We offer a wide range of services all related to LEGO. These include organising sell out LEGO shows, selling and trading LEGO sets & minifigures, LEGO workshops & competitions and making LEGO furniture & frames, we do it all.

our chosen charities.

ASD Ireland (formerly Limerick Autism Group) is a registered charity and a Not for Profit organization that provides socially inclusive activities for people with autism and their families.

The group was founded by two parents, Keith Enright and Caroline Hogan, who both have teenagers with autism spectrum disorder. It was developed due to the lack of socially inclusive activities available for their children.

ASD Ireland have provided a sensory play & safe area at many of our events which helps to make them socially inclusive for all children. To date, we have donated over €2,000 to them and we hope to continue this for many years.

The Jack & Jill Children’s Foundation (J&J) provide in-home nursing care and respite support for children up to the age of five, with a range of neurodevelopmental issues including brain injury, genetic diagnosis and severe cerebral palsy.

Many of the children they care for have undiagnosed conditions. They also provide end of life care for children under the age of 5, regardless of diagnosis.

We partnered with J&J to host a LEGO event in early 2021 with proceeds being donated to the charity. J&J currently use LEGO donations & sales to help fund their activities.

Fairy Bricks has one very simple objective. To give LEGO to children in hospital. Their charitable aim is very simple and straightforward, and as a charity they act in a very similar way.

From humble beginnings and a single hospital donation in 2012, they now aim to deliver LEGO sets to over 200 hospitals throughout the UK and 26 other countries per year. They have previously donated sets to Irish hospitals, even during the pandemic times.

We have made small charitable contributions to Fairy Bricks where possible and hope to one day host a LEGO event with proceeds donated to them.
